Customer Complaint Logging In Channel – Beijing Branch and Shanghai Branch
All bank confirmation (“confirmation”) processing is centralized in Commerzbank Shanghai Branch.
- This process is performed for Commerzbank China Branches, only paper confirmation is accepted, and Shanghai branch / Beijing branch business chop will be affixed in the paper reply letter.
- The charge deduction is based on the number of the reply letter with chop. For the detailed charge standard, please refer to Tariff Schedules (https://www.commerzbank.cn/portal/en/cb/cn/footer/agb/agb.html).
Attention: If providing the wrong account or inappropriate account for charge collection, the most appropriate account would be debited without informing. For example, active CNY normal account with sufficient balance would be first choice.
- Incoming confirmation should include the authorized company chop(s) or signature(s). Cross-page seal is required for multiple-page confirmation. For offshore client, please use the authorized signature(s).
Attention: If confirmation includes multiple accounts and the specimen is different for different accounts, please affix the same specimen as payment to grant the authorization of fee deduction. Meanwhile, for cross-page seal, it shall be company chop or financial chop.
- Standard format of confirmation which fulfills the requirement of "Notice by the General Office of the Ministry of Finance and the General Office of the National Financial Regulatory Administration of Issuing the Operational Guidelines for Bank Confirmations" (No. 2 [2024] of the General Office of the Ministry of Finance, “notice”) can be accepted, i.e. format I or format II. If using format I, all the fields are not allowed to be blank. The reference number of confirmation is mandatory to fill no matter using format I or format II. In addition, free format can be only applicable for the confirmation submitted by overseas external auditors.
- If has any specific situation, for example, qualified in-person confirmation or the account is closed, please contact us before approaching.
Attention: Compared with notice, the reply letter is not fully consistent with the standard format. For the detailed mapping table and discrepancies, please refer to appendix.
- If confirmation is not qualified for further processing such as signature verification inconsistency, no cross-page seal, charge fee collection failure, information incorrect or missing and other situation where the confirmation reply letter cannot be provided normally, our bank shall contact external auditors.
